Our story
A journey of reimagining education.
The world is changing, and technology is everywhere. The global tech revolution has enabled people to access multitudes of information and resources in extremely handy ways — courtesy mobile devices. And while access to information has grown exponentially, so has the dopamine surge arising from digital entertainment.
Back in 2015, our Founder and CEO Dr. Grainne Oates witnessed this first-hand when she realised that right before and after her accounting lectures, her students were hooked to their phones. Thus began her search for a solution that would tackle the problem of distraction at its core — inducing entertainment in learning processes and creating fun journeys people would love to get involved in.
Quitch is the brainchild of a mission to revolutionise learning by gamifying learner content to make it more engaging. Our product caters to every stakeholder involved in the learning and instructing process — from a dynamic, user-friendly content development platform to a handy app that can be downloaded on any device, we have every base covered.
Over the years, our gamified solutions have produced some truly encouraging results, with learner engagement increasing by 25%, and final scores of students using our app rising by 23%. Our global presence spans a number of major markets around the world, namely Australia, Ireland, United States, and Hong Kong, while catering to some very well-known brands like the University of Melbourne, CPA Ireland, Monash University, MYOB, and the University of Sydney to name a few.
Our vision is to make Quitch a household name when it comes to instruction and learning. Every time a person considers learning something new, we aim that they wholeheartedly look forward to the process (and enjoy it) when they #QuitchIt.
